What is the Kisan Program 2025?
Maryam Nawaz’s Kisan Program 2025 is a comprehensive initiative launched by the Government of Punjab to support farmers, boost agricultural productivity, and provide financial and technical assistance. Under this program, a “Kisan Card” has been introduced to give farmers access to various benefits and subsidies.
🌾 What Benefits Will Farmers Get?
• Interest-Free Loans:
Farmers will receive up to PKR 150,000 interest-free loans per crop, repayable within 6 months.
• Purchase of Agricultural Inputs:
Farmers can use the Kisan Card to buy fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides.
• Cash Withdrawal Option:
30% of the amount loaded on the card can be withdrawn in cash, while 70% must be used for purchasing agricultural inputs.
• Provision of Agricultural Machinery:
• Farmers with 12.5–25 acres of land can get free laser land levelers.
• Those with more than 25 acres are eligible for free tractors.

🧾 Eligibility Criteria
• Must be a Pakistani citizen and permanent resident of Punjab.
• Must own 1 to 12.5 acres of agricultural land, with ownership registered in Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA).
• The mobile number must be registered in the applicant’s name (as per CNIC).
• The applicant should not be a loan defaulter with any financial institution.

📝 How to Apply?
1. Register via SMS:
Send an SMS with the text "PKC <Your CNIC Number>" to 8070.
2. Biometric Verification:
Visit your nearest HBL Konnect retailer for biometric verification and open a mobile account.
3. Purchase Kisan Card Bundle:
Pay PKR 500 to buy the Kisan Card bundle.
4. Card Collection:
After 15–20 days, collect your card from the Agriculture Office of your Tehsil upon verification.
